Yin Yoga: Passive, meditative poses are held, allowing the connective tissues to stretch—creating greater flexibility in the body. An excellent introduction to meditation. Class is appropriate for all levels.
Restorative Yoga: is a therapeutic approach where the poses are adapted to accommodate any age, body type and physical condition. You will be safely supported by bolsters, blankets, blocks and pillows—allowing your body to totally relax. Basic breathing and simple meditation techniques will also be introduced to deepen your ability to be at peace and feel calm.
It’s perfect for:
-people with arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other acute and chronic conditions.
-Beginners. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
-All Levels-a great complement to a more active yang practice.
-Dissolving layers of stress.
Aerial Restorative Yoga:
You will use a soft fabric hammock that supports up to a 2000 pounds to move through a series of restorative poses that will rejuvenate and deeply relax your nervous system. The hammock will be hung close to the floor so that students can use the prop to either partially or fully support the weight of the body. The support of the fabric will allow you to move into postures that might otherwise be unavailable to your body type.
