MOYO Yoga

MOYO 1:  Offers the beginner an introduction to yoga, focusing on breathing and basic anatomical alignment.  It also provides the seasoned student with a restorative style class that incorporates strength poses.

 

MOYO 2:  Offers the seasoned/ athletic beginner a class for deepening strength and flexibility.  Emphasis is placed on connection to breath, strengthening abdominals, shoulders, legs and back.  Stationary sequences are incorporated to help focus on alignment.

 

MOYO 3:  Provides the seasoned/ athletic beginner to the advanced student a class focusing on overall strength in poses, while incorporating more challenging poses in a flowing sequence.  It is recommended taht seasoned/athletic beginner students take at least three MOYO 2 classes before attending this class.  An understanding of sun salutations is encouraged.  Class is not recommended for brand new beginners.

 

MOYO Align: This alignment focused class is desgined to take each pose to a new level by breaking down its components-assuring proper body alignment, maximizing the pose’s effectiveness, and ultimately, enhancing your practice.  Open to all levels.
