Our Basics Program offers Foundational Series and Classes with a strong focus on proper breathing techniques, quieting the mind with meditation and stillness, and, of course, yoga poses.

We Get It

Beginning a yoga practice OR getting back into a yoga practice can seem daunting. There are many factors to consider, just as there are with any new endeavor:

  • What will the instructor be like? Will I be able to ‘do’ yoga?
  • Am I too old/young to start?  

The good news is yoga can begin or restart at any point in your life, and chances are, you’ve been practicing yoga without even realizing it. Yoga is more than poses, don’t you know!

Yoga is a lifestyle, and our experienced and compassionate instructors are dedicated to creating a SAFE experience that meets each student where they currently are — inspiring and delivering the highest quality teachings. Our intention and goal is to demystify and encourage you to discover the beautiful life-skills found in the practice of yoga.

Fundamental Yoga Immersion (FYI) Series

This series offers us a lavish buffet of fundamental yogic practices capable of taking your practice to the next level. Whether you are brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, these classes have great value to offer you.

Each class is a comprehensive workshop-style practice —delivering all the feel-good benefits of a yoga class, plus layers of yoga education to empower yo. You can expect an enlightening incorporation of yoga philosophy, pranayama (breathing exercises), basic asanas (yoga poses), mindfulness techniques, and much more.

Deeper Yoga Immersion (DYI) Series

When we learn to move with awareness on our mats, we learn to move with awareness off our mats. As embodied spirits, the ways in which we move become an expression of the spirit within, and having a body provides for an opportunity to navigate this dimension of space/time.
In this series, we will identify the three planes of movement, their primary functions, and the benefits each plane brings to overall physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Warm Foundations Weekly Class

A comprehensive class in breathing techniques, focused asana (postures), and skills in alignment — all of which will prepare and educate the body, resulting in a powerful intelligence of awareness. Students can expect a warm, but manageable environment of 80 degrees. As awareness increases, students will begin to strengthen, control, and feel the grace of a true Yoga experience.
