Who doesn’t love a good field trip?!
Over the weekend MOYO took a field trip to Baba’s Brew in Phoenixville. What a cool spot!! Inspired by some of Andy Warhol’s art work, the space is very bright and colorful. If you’re wondering why I’m writing about this field trip, I am excited to tell you! MOYO recently partnered with Baba’s Brew to bring their delicious and nutritious kombucha to Skippack!
Baba’s Brew has been creating kombucha concoctions since 2015. Don’t know what Kombucha is? Check out our earlier blog post “Ok, What the Heck is Kombucha?” for all the deets. Olga Sorzano owns and operates this small business. She affectionately named her business after her great-grandmother “Baba” who introduced her to homemade kombucha when she was growing up in Siberia. Baba’s Bucha is handcrafted in small batches using only fair trade organic ingredients and local seasonal produce. It is vegan, raw, gluten free, and has no artificial flavorings or colors. It is brewed in glass, and served in glass.
A Culture Factory
Olga gave MOYO a cultural experience at Baba’s tasting room. Customers can visit the tasting room at A Culture Factory in Phoenixville! A Culture Factory offers a variety of yoga classes, fermentation workshops, and of course, kombucha tastings! There are a variety of flavors on tap and we tried them all! There was delicious Blueberry, flowery Hibiscus, soothing Honey Chamomile, and more! Because they use all organic and local products to flavor their booch, you know you’re getting only the best flavors!
Here at MOYO we love supporting and making connections with other small businesses. Stop by the barn to pick up a bottle of this healing elixir! Or visit their tasting room in Phoenixville to sample their booch and get a peak of where the magic happens in their brewery space!
