Our Name
MOYO (pronounced MO-YO) is the Swahilli word for soul. We refer to MOYO as ‘the soul of yoga.’

Our Mission
MOYO presents a community for the modern yogi that is committed to outstanding yoga through superior programming, evolving teachers, grounding practices, and peaceful lustrous spaces.
Our Vision
Our vision is to raise awareness of conscious living. We want to support our student’s in their journey towards a positive mental attitude, personal empowerment and the ability to embrace change.
What We Teach
We teach an evolutionary power yoga practice that incorporates complimentary philosophies techniques and approaches. Optimal body alignment, respecting your body’s wisdom and progressing at your own pace are always emphasized at MOYO.
Studio Policies
Children
We kindly request ask that children under the age of 15 attend classes specifically designed for their age group. Ages 16 and above may attend adult classes.
Weather & Emergency Cancellations
If there is inclement weather, please visit our website prior to class to confirm if there will be class. Also, we follow the Perkiomen Valley school cancellation schedule.
Holidays
Classes will be held according to the holiday schedule unless specifically announced in class or posted in the studio.
Tips & Etiquette
Arrive 5 to 15 minutes early to sign in, change, set up for class and let your instructor know of any injuries or challenges you are struggling with.
Do not wear shoes in the studio.
It is important to keep the studio clean and neat. Wear comfortable clothing that is breathable.
Come to class comfortable but do not wear perfume or scents.
Come with an empty stomach. If you need to leave, do it before savasana (resting pose).
Do not talk during class because it is a distraction to the teacher and other students. Hold any questions you may have until after class.
Please leave all cell phones and pagers out of the studio.
